- Door thickness is 1 1/2" or 2".
- Weight varies depending on door size and style. For example a 3'0" x 8'0" door can weigh approximately 200-250 pounds.
- Doors are designed for standard handle sets. 2 1/8" bore, 2 3/8" back-set, 5 1/2" center.
- Door units come pre-hung on custom made heavy duty steel frames.
- Catalonia doors are made using 14 gauge steel, and ornamental work is typically forged from 5/8" solid iron.
- We offer an extensive selection of glass textures, patterns, and tint colors.
- Glass panels are designed to accommodate up to 5/8 tempered glass and can be customized to suite building requirements (Low E or Insulated glass).
- On entries featuring double door units, the inactive door panel is equipped with a flush bolt system allowing it to remain locked and stationary when not in use.
- Doors can be hinged to swing in or out (Commercial applications swing out only).
- A high density insulating foam is injected throughout the door body and frame.
- A combination of foam and rubber weather stripping is used around the door frame and glass panel. Rubber sweeps ensure the doors are weather tight.
- Final color is oil based black paint with Faux Finish. The finishes are made with automotive type paint, mostly in copper, gold, aluminum, and/or combination of these colors.
